The Rookery Nook

The Rookery Nook is a self-contained, self-catering studio flat. It sleeps 2 (double bed), and has a kitchen, shower room and living area. It is well equipped for a comfortable stay, and the price includes linen, towels, and gas/electric. For the comfort of all guests we do not allow smoking or pets in the accommodation.

Availability

Accommodation is available March to October, unless a course is booked with Fran Malloy Furniture in which case accommodation is available all year.

Minimum booking is 7 nights (Fri to Fri)

We can be flexible though, so if you have particular requirements please ask.

Cost

Mar/Aprl/May - £175 weekly
Jun/Sep/Oct - £210 weekly
Jul/Aug - £280 weekly

A stay of 2 full weeks or more will attract a discount (14 nights for the price of 12)

A non-refundable deposit of £50 is payable to confirm your booking (this is in addition to the £50 deposit for courses with Fran Malloy, where appropriate). The balance is due not later than one month prior to your arrival. Bookings made within one month of the arrival date will be charged in full at the time of booking.

Phone or email to check availability and reserve your required dates, then print and complete the booking form and send it to us with your deposit to confirm your booking.

Location

The Rookery Nook is located in the small village of Waterfoot, 6 miles south of Glasgow, and 1 mile from the conservation village of Eaglesham.

Transport

Waterfoot is on a main bus route from Central Glasgow (no.44, First Bus), and is also served by the Henderson Bus no.395 from the Southside of Glasgow. The nearest local train station is at Clarkston (where you can also pick up the no.44 First Bus). There is parking space beside the house for those arriving by car. Click for map

Local Facilities

The conservation village of Eaglesham is within easy reach on foot, bicycle, bus or car for all your shopping needs. There you will find a newsagent, greengrocer, small supermarket, post office, butcher, pubs and restaurants. We can also provide an "arrival provisions" pack on request.
